Cinco de Mayo Celebrates GLSS Michigan Opener
Merrill, MI - On the eve of the NCRA Great Lakes Super Sprints season opener at Limaland Raceway Park in Lima, OH, we have been busy preparing for our Michigan opener at I-96 Speedway near Lake Odessa.
Cinco de Mayo actually celebrates the defeat of the French in the Battle of Puebla in Mexico. But this year it will also be celebrating the Ice Breaker Opener at I-96 Speedway.
We're looking forward to getting dirty on Cinco de Mayo this year! So come and join your favorite sprint car drivers as well as IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks and Four Cylinders on Friday, May 5th.
Pits open at 4:30, stands at 5:30, Hot Laps and qualifying at 7:00 and Racing starts at 8:00. I-96 Speedway is located at 3823 West Portland Road, Lake Odessa, MI 48849.
