I-96 Speedway Driver News Advisory - Feb 4th 2009
The I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan continues to prepare for the 2010 season. With opening night less than three months away racers throughout Michigan continue to ready their equipment for the long awaited championship chase.
In preparation for the 2010 racing season I-96 Speedway race teams have several decisions to make. There is the choice of what chassis to run, what division to compete in and the all important power plant decision. The choices are many when it comes to engine choices. With the new I-96 Speedway UMP Late Model rules, teams have several choices including open engines, crate 604’s and the new GM CT525 engine.
The I-96 Speedway is excited to announce the first delivery of these much talked about engines will be arriving at the track in the next week. These engines that are manufactured and assembled in Michigan are being talked about throughout the racing industry. There are several I-96 Speedway race teams that have already purchased the new CT525 and cannot wait to try it out on the new 3/8 mile oval.
There has been much conversation with part manufacturers regarding the entire bolt on parts needed for this specific engine and many are already in production.
With the arrival of these new engines in the coming days there are still opportunities for race teams to purchase one of these powerful race engines.
