Q. IS THERE RESERVED SEATING FOR THIS EVENT?
A. THIS IS A GENERAL ADMISSION EVENT. THERE ARE NO RESERVED SEATS.
Q. IS CAMPING ALLOWED?
A. CAMPING IS ALLOWED AND IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! IF YOU WISH TO CAMP FOLLOWING THE CONCERT, YOU MUST PURCHASE A CAMPING PASS. THESE CAN BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE FOR $20 OR THE DAY OF THE SHOW FOR $30. EACH CAMPING PASS IS GOOD FOR UP TO 4 PEOPLE AND 1 CAR. CAMPING IS VERY RUSTIC, AND FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. SO GET HERE EARLY AND RESERVE YOUR SPOT!
Q. I don’t want to camp – can I park for the day?
Yes you can. Day parking passes are $5 per car and will be collected upon parking.
Q. CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL OR FOOD INTO THE CONCERT?
A. NO! YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINKS TO YOUR CAMPSITE, HOWEVER ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE FENCED IN CONCERT AREA. I-96 SPEEDWAY HAS TONS OF ICE COLD BEER AND LOTS OF DELICIOUS FOOD AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE.
Q. ARE PETS ALLOWED?
A. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ARE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT. IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE DOG THAT MUST ACCOMPANY YOU, PLEASE MAKE PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE MANAGEMENT AT I-96 SPEEDWAY. 616-642-0555.
Q. What will the weather be like?
Average highs are 90F and average lows around 60F that time of year. Typically it is hot and sunny with a nice firm breeze. But sure to check the forecast before you leave and stake that tent down properly, as we tend to get gusts of wind out there. Sunscreen! Sunscreen! Sunscreen!
Q. I have small children, can I bring a stroller?
Yes you can, but really this is not an event for children to attend, and your stroller will be subject to a search. You’d be surprised what people try and hide behind the kid!
Q. What is the restroom situation?
Full disclosure, for the most part only port-a-johns are available.
Q. Is there a first aid station?
Yes, ask any member of staff and they will point you in the right direction.
Q. Can I buy sunscreen there?
You can find sunscreen and other little necessities at the concessions stands.
